In CHRIST Alone …

No guilt in life, no fear in death—
This is the pow’r of Christ in me;
From life’s first cry to final breath,
Jesus commands my destiny.
No pow’r of hell, no scheme of man,
Can ever pluck me from His hand;
Till He returns or calls me home—
Here in the pow’r of Christ I’ll stand.

Got problems?

God is always working something to our good. Even when we can’t see it. Even when we don’t feel it. He didn’t create us to keep us perpetually comfortable without trials.

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. ~ Romans 12:12

Because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. ~ James 1:3

As you know, we count as blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy. ~ James 5:11

Being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience. ~ Colossians 1:11

There are so many verses in Scripture about patience through problems…about perseverance. Let’s take God at His mighty and powerful, truthful word. He is with us, He is for us. With Him what can stand against us?

And all God’s children say…. Amen!

Genesis 3:1

"Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made.
He said to the woman, “Did God actually say ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden?’”~ Gen 3:1

The Fall …

The serpent, the enemy, asked “did God actually say…”

And we fall into this trap today. Questioning God’s Word. We want a kinder, gentler, more politically correct version for our “modern day” sensibilities. God’s Word does not, will not, change. The serpent started to question it immediately… And today many false prophets are picking up the torch. Know the Bible. Read Scripture. Beware of Satan asking you, “did God really say that?”

Watch this sermon, which I saw this morning…. Frightening how we are led astray because we believe the lies.

It’s long, from 2011. Watch it in chunks if you don’t have the time in one sitting.
But understand … God meant it 6000 years ago and means it today. One line from sermon …. “God doesn’t stutter.”
